Half of My Heart

I was born in the arms of imaginary friends. Free to roam, made a home out of everywhere I've been.
Then, you come and crashing in like the realest thing. Trying my best to understand all that your love can bring.

Half of my heart's got a grip on this situation, half of my heart takes time.
Half of my heart got's a right mind to tell you that I can't keep loving you with half of my heart.

I was made to believe I'd never love somebody else. I made a plan, stay a man who can only love himself.
Lonely was the song I sang till the day you came. Showing me another way and all that my love can bring.

Your faith is strong, but I can only fall down for so long. Down the road, later on.
You will hate that I never give more to you than half of my heart.

But I can't stop loving you. I can't stop loving you. I can't stop loving you with half of my heart.

Half of my heart's got a real good imagination, half of my heart's got you.
Half of my heart's got a right mind to tell you that half of my heart won't do.

Half of my heart is a shotgun wedding to a bride with a paper ring.
And half of my heart is the part of man who's never truly loved anything.

December

Let's try to remember these days back in December. Our lives were very different, I was lonely when we first met.

A small upstairs apartment. Driving through the darkness to get back on before they knew you were even gone.

You don't have to speak because I can hear your heartbeat, fluttering like butterflies searching for a drink.

You don't have to cover up how you feel when you're in love. I always know I'm not enough to even make you think.

Please, slow down, Babe. We're moving way too fast for their world. We gotta make this last. I know it hurts to feel so all alone. I'm by myself more than you could know. If only they were all alone.

I miss you so much, a self-inflicted comma. The days drag on like marathons, running with bare feet.

And when I feel the stress, I'm lonely and depressed, I picture you in the dress you wore four weeks ago..

-Original lyrics: December by Hawthorne Heights-

Missing so many people in the same time without knowing if they are missing you in return and no chance to meet up are such a very BIG deal :)
